DataSource Corporation was the very first organization in the nation to collect, process and publish government and bank-owned foreclosure lists to the public. Started in 1989, no one has been in the business longer.
In the early 90’s, we went online with the first ever searchable property database accessible via dial-up BBS system. We also published the only database of RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) foreclosed properties. The RTC was the government agency created in 1989 under George H.W. Bush to solve the Savings and Loan crisis of the late 80’s.
By 1996, we developed our first website offering listings of REO and government owned foreclosures. We are not aware of any other company that offered detailed foreclosure listings prior to our first site in 1996.
DataSource publishes the most accurate and complete listings of bank-owned foreclosures (REO’s) and government-owned foreclosed property listings. We have complete national coverage.
We use the same proprietary data collection methodologies to aggregate and publish Trustee Sale and Sheriff Sale data.
